Mescalera is the pick in this tricky affair, Inescapable and Tamora could be the main threats. The selection showed plenty of ability last season and looked on the way back last time when chasing home today's rival Inescapable at Wolverhampton. She only went down by a neck and is six pounds better off so she should be capable of reversing the running. Tamora is from a yard in decent form and was rated in the mid sixties not too long ago. She put in a much improved effort last time behind Bob Baileys and a repeat of that effort should see her in the shake up. Gaudalpin does at least have winning form and could prove best of the remainder, but in a race where bets should be kept small, Mescalera gets the decision.
