In depth

Verdict

Hawsies Dream and the frustrating Sand Grouse look up against it on today's terms, but only 3lb separates the remaining runners on official figures. With Royal Guinevere returning from a lay-off and Forceful Flame looking pretty exposed after a modest reappearance at Kempton, this looks like a rematch between Carina Palace and ADMIRALOFTHESEA. The former is weighted to reverse recent running over 7f at this track, but Robert Eddery's colt won a shade cosily once he found top gear and is taken to defy a penalty and follow up.
