An open renewal of the Roseberry can go the way of Tabadul at the main expense of Royal Jet and Quince. Ed Dunlop's six-year-old has won at the course before and was impressive when last seen over in Dubai, landing a competitive handicap. He was ultra consistent last season (only poor run came on soft ground) and can continue his upward curve today if able to capitalise on his usual good start and gain a decent early pitch. Royal Jet is another model of consistency and has only been unplaced once in his six starts on the all-weather. Mick Channon's horses have started the season well and he must have solid claims despite his less-than-ideal low draw. King's Quay made a pleasing return to the flat (has been running well over hurdles) when second a fortnight ago at Lingfield and has place claims at least, along with Active Asset who won well form the front last time out but won't get an easy lead today. Quince is of definite interest given his consistent portfolio however he may just need a longer trip, whilst the same applies to Gerald Butler's All The Good. In a tricky contest for punters, we will return to Tabadul to land the spoils.
