MAXIMUM EFFECT opened her account in a maiden over track and trip last month with Dubious Affair back in fourth. The Gosden filly was placed on her handicap debut before that and is only 2lb higher today. Sashenka’s success at Newcastle came over 1m4f and she’s upped in class off a higher mark for this while Miss M has been placed in lowly Class 6 contests here recently. Freckles is preferred to Capriolette now back on the all-weather while Perfect Number and Royal Star are both worth a second glance handicapping for the first time.
