Anything from Richard Hannon's operation needs respecting at the moment so Our Way Only is on the shortlist for this nursery but with his mark difficult to assess preference is made for OCEAN DRIFT, after his near miss in one of these races last time, while Ryan Moore is an interesting booking on Dozy Joe. On a progressive run of form the Godolphin owned pick followed a nice win in a Newmarket maiden by just missing out when 2lbs better off in a Nursery again at that venue. While that rise is far from ideal he has less to prove off his current mark than most in this line-up. Our Way Only capped a progressive run of form with victory in a Folkestone maiden last time out and while more is expected it is hard to say whether a mark of 73 is correct first time up in this company. Dozy Joe left his debut run behind to dead-heat for a score and the presence of the champion on his back is encouraging and Miss Clairton should be in the mix after her own maiden win. Theses races are always hard to assess at this stage of the season but Ocean Drift is progressive and has the least to prove.
