        Verdict

        CRAGGANMORE CREEK ran well in defeat last time out and is expected to go one place better today at the main expense of Ashmolian and Prince Of Medina. Not a classified race to get heavily involved with but at least the selection was in good form when last seen in December. Admittedly he was beaten by four lengths into second behind Wyeth but it was a much improved show and he is back at a winnable level now. Ashmolian was not disgraced at 40/1 last time at Southwell and although he is yet to win in 19 starts all told, his maiden success may not be too far away. Prince Of Medina let down favourite backers last time out, whilst Peas 'n Beans tries the visor for the first time this evening in the hope of eliciting some much needed improvment. Satindra hasn't been in bad form over hurdles, however a bigger danger could be Tusculum. He represents shrewd connections and any positive move in the market would look significant. A poor opener, and it is Cragganmore Creek who is selected.
