Bold Ring comes here on good form after successive Lingfield wins and should go very well under a penalty, but, in what is probably the trickiest puzzle on the card to solve, we'll chance RIVER BOUNTY. Alan Jarvis's runner has a course win to her name and pedigree suggests that she can get this trip. She has a huge absence to overcome but the handicapper has dropped her to a very attractive mark of just 55 and first time back may be the time to catch the mare. Only A Game has claims but looks better over 6f, while the same applies to Namu, who can't seem to find what is required close to home. Zafeen's Pearl was a 1m 1f winner at Wolverhampton last time and is respected now raised 3lb, although she has it to prove over this shorter trip. (Jonathan Doidge)
