MOYNAHAN and Hurricane Spirit represent our pair against the field here with narrow preference for the first named. Our selection was sixth in the guineas as a three-year-old before things went awry, however he showed a deal more last time when looking an unlucky loser off this mark. It's true he's not actually won a handicap yet but this may be the day for Paul Cole's charge with Fallon booked to ride. Hurricane Spirit is also worthy of respect with Jamie Spencer an eye-catching booking aboard John Best's horse. He attracted support before taking fifth over seven furlongs last time and should improve upon that now upped to a mile; his last win came over course and distance and he's fairly treated off just 3lbs higher. Desert Kiss is well-drawn for one who can make the running and with Walter Swinburn's runners in good form he's respected off the same mark that saw him go close on turf last time, whilst The Which Doctor should've come on for his return and could take a hand if they go a good pace. Mac's Power can't be ruled out as there could yet be more to come and he ran well here behind Penitent when last seen. James Fanshawe's inmate is preferred to Alfresco of those at prices, but our selection remains Moynahan.
