Verdict
A decent end to the card with some in-form performers and we will plump for Prime Factor ahead of the unexposed Premier Danseur and Asian Power. The selection has had three starts to date and won over this course and distance on his second run. He then went on to finish a fairly close up fourth to the decent yardstick New York Oscar and with further improvement likely, he is fancied to oblige. Premier Dansuer must rate a danger but he faces tough competition on his handicap debut but he could be anything, especially when he steps up in trip. Northern Bolt scored well on softened ground last time and needs a check in the betting on his return, whilst Fathsta and Taladavil are both fairly consistent but arguably high enough in the weights. Emperors Jade is not straight-forward but should be a player given nominal improvement, whilst Asian Power ran well behind Thebes over this C+D last time and has place claims again. Incomparable was progressive on the turf last time out and should continue to progress this year but he will need to to defy this handicap mark of 81, whilst Balata could run into a place off bottom weight now stepped back up to six furlongs. A tough race for punters to finish with, and the narrow vote goes to Prime Factor.
