Dinner Date won this race last year and lines up in a bid to gain his first success since from a 1lb higher mark with blinkers applied for the first time. One certainly couldn't rule it out but a chance is taken with GALLANTRY who looks to have Harting Hill to beat. Marcus Tregoning's charge is a track specialist having finished in the money on eleven of his fifteen runs here, winning three; he's not too badly treated and has run well for Katia Scallan. He's likely to be short enough though so a chance is taken with Gallantry who is 3lbs lower than when winning over course and distance in February and has claims if bouncing back to form whilst Chief Exec can't be dismissed despite disappointing twice since winning here over seven and racing beyond his optimum.
