A modest maiden with the top-rated horse, Vezere, boasting a mark of just 64 which is 8lbs clear of his next nearest rival, Marksbury, who will attract attention being the mount of Paul Hanagan. It would be no surprise to see this go to one of those with less experience though and a chance is taken with SUNTRAP. This is a belated return to the track for William Knight's gelding who contested maidens won by Treble Jig and Workforce last season, this is significantly easier and he should be able to make his presence felt on last term's evidence. Asterisk readily holds Handsome King on their running at Leicester but conditions here will be very different whilst it will be interesting to see if there's any market support for Princess Runner who is related to a number of winners at around this trip.
