Verdict
BERKELEY VALE posted a much better effort on his handicap debut and belated seasonal return at Lingfield. Racing off the same mark today. Roger Teal's charge can open his account with further progress expected. Marmarus is 5lb higher than when winning at Lingfield in July and should have done better at this track last time but Unbridled Joy is not easily dismissed on her handicap debut having made the frame over track and trip last month. Scarlet Plum and Inis Airc are others to consider with plenty of scope for improvement.
