          Verdict

          Taquka won over track and trip last month with MERITOCRACY back in third. But the latter re-opposes on better terms for this and it could be the turn of Paul Cole's charge today. Gabbiano is another with claims back in this lower grade with an apprentice's allowance helping his cause but Amygdala has found life tougher off a higher mark since winning at Cork back in June. Jungle Bay may prove best of the rest.
