The well-bred Amure is fancied to get off the mark today; possible at the main expense of Stormy View and Lush. The last named posted her best effort to date when she finished second in a tough looking maiden at Newbury last time out. The step up in trip obviously suited the Richard Hannon-trained filly and she has a solid chance of at least making the frame if posting a similar effort today. Stormy View has shown up well in both her starts this season and appears to be going the right way. John Gosden has a choice of entries for the daughter of Cozzene and she should be noted wherever she turns up next. However, Amure sets the standard on the official BHA ratings and she is expected to be hard to beat if she has improved during her winter break.
