Billy Merriott has yet to complete over fences but will no doubt have had further schooling since last seen in November. Monsieur Gibraltar may do better now switched to fences while DAYS OF HEAVEN and Foxcub were both very decent hurdlers. Nicky Henderson's charge landed a Grade 2 at this track 15 months ago and can score at the first time of asking over fences. New World would have struggled to keep tabs on most of these over the smaller obstacles but looks a real chasing type and will probably improve on whatever he achieves today.
