Verdict

SIR BOSS ended a long losing run when scoring over C&D last time and looks capable of following up. Today's drop in class will help him overcome a 6lb penalty and he can confirm superiority with Professor John, who finished a couple of lengths behind him last time. Captain Cool bids for a hat-trick after victory in an amateurs' race last week and he beat subsequent winner Suhailah at Lingfield before that, while C&D winner My Valley has a chance after finding the step up in class and trip beyond her last time.
