      In depth

      Verdict

CORROSIVE (NAP) had to weave through a wall of horses to get up at Chelmsford last month and holds Manson on that run. He’s only been raised 2lb and has won four of his five starts under Josephine Gordon, including one here, so is difficult to oppose. Sir Hamilton was only beaten a length off this mark here last time and has place claims again. Qaroun handled the switch to Polytrack at Chelmsford but both victories so far have come over 7f. Maypole scored over course and distance last month, however, though Hugo Palmer trains the second so should know where he stands with the selection. Dark Profit could have problems with this extra furlong as he can race keenly.
