Verdict
Spell was last seen finishing fifth in a Listed race over 5f at York in May. That form is easily the best of those with experience ahead of stablemate Khibrah but an absence since is a concern, though she has got the inside draw. Jeremy Noseda’s newcomer LAQUEZZA has a US Dirt pedigree and cost $410,000 so should be ideally suited by the surface and could be above average. Dupioni is a half-sister to four winners and also worth a market check while Lufricia and Queen Of Burgundy represents powerful Newmarket stables in good form.
