Verdict

Those with experience have a bit of improving to do on the evidence of modest efforts so far. Dutch Heiress disappointed at Bath last time and Girl With A Pearl failed to show any progress at Leicester on her latest start. But Refulgence and Villa Bonita should finish closer and the latter is preferred to the other Godolphin runner Mirror City. Winter Rose and Ribbing are newcomers to note but a chance is taken on another debutante in HAWKSMOOR with an entry in the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes suggesting she has shown some ability at home.
