With Mark Johnston's string in such good form it is probably wise to side with KONCHANSKI here ahead of Mekong Miss and Spring Quartet. The selection has been improving with every run and benefitted for joining the handicap ranks last time with victory in a similarly low grade event. He's only been raised three pounds for that success and he is entitled to improve again to over come the extra weight. Mekong Miss found this trip and surface exactly to her liking last time, putting in a marked improvement to find just one a little bit too good. Allotted the same mark here she should go well again and could well improve further. Spring Quartet has found the two we've just looked at too good in recent starts and it¿s difficult to see that changing under these terms. Good Buy Dubai looks weighted to challenge but also has form to over turn on the leading contenders while Tae Kwon Do will have to find a big improvement for this big step up in trip. Not the best race on the card then but certainly competitive with the verdict going to Kochanski.
