While Creshendo's form looks strong there are a few too many negatives surrounding Ralph Beckett's runner so instead we opt to select PRINCESS CAGLIARI with Dontuwishitwereso also given a chance. The selection has been steadily improving and finally ended a long run of silvers with a decent looking victory over distance at Southwell last time. Just as effective on this surface he should go well off a mark just four pound higher. Creshendo put in a very pleasing debut to win in similar company at Goodwood last season. He's not been seen since but the race has produced multiple winners at a higher grade but while he should act on the polytrack it is not guaranteed. Dontuwishitwereso was an easy winner of a very weak maiden at Southwell last time at an odds-on price. That was an improvement from his debut but he looks a little high in the weights on his first run in this sphere. Mark Johnston's string has been going well lately so it might be dangerous to ignore Count Paris while Bens Dream would be a danger if taking to the surface. Intriguing race this with most looking destined for better things and this time the vote lands in the saddle of Princess Cagliari.
