In depth

Verdict

There must be a doubt about MONBEG CHIT CHAT taking up this engagement after his career-best run at Stratford on Friday evening when a close third in the Champion Hunter Chase. Previously successful at the Cheltenham hunter chase evening, he is the clear form pick if connections go to the well again less than 48 hours later. Should he bypass this contest then Point The Way appeals as the likeliest alternative after comfortably accounting for Killer Crow at Perth. Fortunes Hiding is steadily getting his act together in the pointing sphere and the former Lucinda Russell inmate is respected.
