In depth

Verdict

Agrapart has travelled up from Devon but probably isn’t the force of old. Sultans Pride has won three of his last four but steps up in grade for this but Taxmeifyoucan, who beat Kaizer at Musselburgh, could go well at a price as he’s a dour stayer back over a more suitable trip. Cap Du Nord has been keeping good company over fences but is 28lb higher than when last seen over hurdles. Mahlervous has also been chasing and will have stamina to prove along with West To The Bridge and Miah Grace. I K Brunel is also best watched at present but Doyen Breed won over an extended 3m at Ayr and is progressing nicely. MR HARP (NAP) was no match for Albert Bartlett fifth Alaphilippe in a Grade 2 at Haydock five weeks ago but the third, fourth and fifth that day have all run well since and Thomas Gallagher’s consistent novice can come out on top here.
