In depth

Verdict

Vengeur De Guye has placed in three of four starts this season and is 5lb lower than for his last victory which came over this course and distance. But jockey bookings suggest Lucky Flight may be the stable pick, despite pulling up at Musselburgh last month on his first start since wind surgery. Benny's Secret has been off the track for more than a year and needs further but Fourth Of July won easily over course and distance three weeks ago, though has been raised 14lb. Brian Hughes has a decent book of rides today and DANDOLO DU GITE came up against a well-treated rival at Catterick earlier this month and looks poised to get his head back in front.
