Glen Tulloch, Le Royal, High Five and Scrappie all make the short-list with preference for the latter. A return to this track could spark a return to form for Ryminster as he has a decent track record whilst Cash Bonanza and Nevada Red also enter calculations. Glen Tulloch has yet to make the frame in twelve starts but she cannot be ruled out with any degree of confidence. Le Royal has fared better, finishing second on four of his ten starts over fences, including last time when High Five got the better of him. He's a little bit better off at the weights this afternoon and could pull out a little bit more for tackling this longer trip. Scrappie has had just the two starts over fences and is still searching for his maiden success. He was stepped up to a trip just beyond 3 miles for the first time last time and that brought about a measure of improvement as he stayed on well to finish second to Silent Bay. This marathon trip could bring about further improvement from this unexposed eight year old and Scrappie is taken to make the best of his way home.
