Brandy Wine may be able to take this on his return from more than a year off whilst Kiwijimbo is also of interest; Reel Charmer and Totally Scottish are amongst those with solid claims. Brandy Wine hasn't got many miles on the clock but has sufficient ability to be a major player in this company. He'll handle the ground, stay the trip and his trainer is capable of readying one after an absence. Kiwijimbo's return earlier this month was his first start since May 2006. He ran well enough for long enough to suggest that he retains some ability and is of interest on his old form. The trip is something of an unknown but he has no weight on his back and market support would look significant. Reel Charmer and Totally Scottish are pretty consistent performers who should run their races but have no easy task from near the top of the weights. A chance is taken, therefore, with Brandy Wine.
