Verdict

It's a surprise to see Man Of Principles turned out again only two days after pulling up at Carlisle while Dodgey Dream has been rested since suffering the same fate here over a longer trip in December when Super Ally finished third. The drop in distance will suit Andrew Parker's versatile gelding but more interesting is THE MAGIC BISHOP, who has his ground again today and finished 23 lengths ahead of subsequent Sedgefield winner Soul Bid when fifth at Wetherby last time, though the latter is much better off at the weights here. Quacity won at Ayr last month but looks harshly treated for what he's achieved.
