In depth

Verdict

Worthy Farm is a thorough stayer who will probably make a bold attempt to defy a 7lb rise for winning at Ascot. Captain Drake is on a hat-trick after a wide-margin victory at Southwell earlier this month and has only gone up 6lb but James Reveley is an interesting jockey booking for SEEMORELIGHTS, who had every chance at Ayr two weeks ago when falling at the last. Compensation could be forthcoming here with a clear round and he’s preferred to stablemate Arthurs Secret. Teescomponents Lad is improving and will be a factor if staying this longer trip but Aye Right has been beaten twice here recently off lower marks and Tomkevi also looks in the handicapper’s grip.
