Verdict

A decent prize has attracted a strong line-up. Winston C was useful on the Flat and is making good progress over hurdles ahead of his handicap debut. Ingleby Hollow is another heading in the right direction after a stuttering start to his career over jumps. Irish Roe has won plenty of races for Peter Atkinson but she hasn’t really fired this season and needs some help from the handicapper. Joke Dancer and Albert's Back finished 1-2 at Newcastle last month when both were making their seasonal reappearance. Ted Veale and Aristo Du Plessis are both held on that form but Get Out The Gate is not out of this and Martila won over course and distance in January and is only a pound higher. CHAMPAGNE CITY has moved up another notch this season and, though raised a further 3lb since a close second at Newbury, can get back to winning ways.
