Verdict

A wide open handicap chase here in which many can be given chances on there best form. Another General is taken to score, he is from the bang in form Richard Phillips yard and he was a good winner at Ayr last time out when defeating Bay Magic. He has risen in the weights for that victory but he is scopey sort and he may continue to improve. Putsometnby would have won easily last time but for unshipping his rider at the last. If his jumping holds up he will be a danger to all with conditions in his favour. A Piece Of Cake is also worthy of consideration he won well at Ayr last time when defeating Hugo De Grez. However he is unproven over this marathon trip and he may struggle under his welter burden. Ballybough Rasher is well in on his best form and he gives the impression he will stay this far however he is another that is beset with jumping problems. Jocks Cross is another to consider he was a fair fifth in a much better race behind Shotgun Willy last time and he to has dropped to a fair mark. Behavingbadly easily beat Double Bogey Blues last time and that form has since been franked by the runner up. If he stays and is as effective on this faster ground he could go well at a big price off his light weight. Of the remainder Moral Support is well in on his best form and he showed signs of a revival when second behind Gunner Welburn last time if he is in the the same mood he is another that could go well at a fair price.
