Verdict

Red Flyer is expected to get back on the winning track in this novices hurdle despite giving weight to all his rivals. The gelding from the Patrick Haslam yard was a good second behind the highly regarded Far Pavilions last time out, and although he was well beaten on that occasion there is nothing of that caliber in this field and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Thunder Canyon finished fifth in the same race and although he showed improvement to be second behind Khrack last time there is no reason why he should reverse placings on the same terms. Thoutmosis showed very little on the flat but he is from atop yard and he is worth a cautionary look in the market. Celtic Legend was sixth behind Bushido last time and that horse has won again since but he will need to improve significantly on this faster ground to take a hand in the finish. Of the remainder Polished is from the bang-in form Richard Guest yard and any market confidence should be noted.
