Green Zone is well treated nowadays and showed a glimpse of his old form last time at Perth, though saves his best for that track. Sleep In First is getting a bit long in the tooth and hasn’t won over hurdles in more than two years but he’s nicely handicapped as a result. MITCD, an easy winner at Market Rasen in June, has run twice on the Flat since failing to justify favouritism at Perth in July. She’s back in the right grade and the opposition here is far from taxing so George Bewley’s mare gets the nod ahead of maiden Superefficient. Rory's Valentine was a 50/1 chance when getting off the mark at Perth following wind surgery but will need to prove that wasn’t a fluke.
