      Verdict

Kasbah was only beaten a short-head at Bath on Saturday but always seems to find at least one too good, though is better drawn than Saaheq. The latter made a winning reappearance at Doncaster last week after more than a year off on his first run for Mick Appleby and could make a mockery of his penalty but will need luck in-running. THREE LITTLE BIRDS was winning for the first time on Turf at Bath earlier this month but has only been raised and Jason Watson’s claim takes care of that. Porto Ferro was elevated to a career-high mark after winning at Windsor and couldn’t cope at Goodwood and there’s no reason he’ll fare any better here. Operative was only sixth when favourite here last week but is looking well treated nowadays.
