In depth

Verdict

Baron De Midleton has shown a decent level of form in his four races to date over fences but, after making a successful debut over fences at Ayr, ELVIS MAIL (NAP) wasn’t given a hard time at Haydock once his chance had gone. The top weight has a terrific record over hurdles around here and just about has the beating of Carlisle second Heartbreak Kid on collateral form. Thebannerkingrebel fell when in front at Plumpton last time having won a match there previously and Eclair D'Ainay also came to grief last time having scored earlier at Chepstow.
