    Verdict

Cooking Fat won twice last winter and may have won a third but for falling over hurdles at Haydock. He was beginning to make ground when unseating his rider at Carlisle last time and a clear round would see him in the hunt. Chidwell's form figures flatter him as he's run in very small fields while Cup Final's only victory over fences came in a two-runner event. Sudski Star loves it around here and easily won over fences in September though that was over 2m1f and he's been hit with a 9lb rise. FEDERICI had some strong form in Ireland and though not showing much since joining Donald McCain he's generally competed at a higher level so a chance is taken he can return to winning ways.
