One For Hocky landed a similar class handicap at the last meeting and has gone up 10lb and just scrapes into the race. He likes the conditions and with Ryan Day again using his claim can get into contention. Bowdler's Magic was conceding BOLLIN ACE 4lb when beating him narrowly at Wetherby in November but the runner-up has improved subsequently and his close second in a much better race than this at Sedgefield last month just about gives him the edge in an open handicap. Imperial Prince has been making rapid strides and was having only his fifth start over timber when scoring easily at Newcastle. That was on heavy going and he's been raised 11lb but should still get into the mix. Andhaar won a lower-class handicap here in October but is 9lb higher in this better race.
