Tobesure is running back into form and is the pick ahead of the likes of Russian Sky, Old Nosey, October Mist and Major Shark. Tobesure has won twice round the Borders track in the past and has been a regular visitor over the years. At the age of 11, he is getting a bit long in tooth, but has been doing well off his current mark of late, so he should once again be produced with a chance at the last. There are plenty of dangers, including Old Nosey who has the help of Graham Lee. He would have a better chance on faster going though, and of perhaps more interest is Russian Sky. He made all at Sedgefield in October and since then has taken on better company in the shape of Basilea Star and Rambling Minster. Back in this company, he should be in with a shout. October Mist is a stablemate of the latter, so Keith Reveley will have a form line to work on with this once promising sort who has dropped steadily down the weights. Major Shark is the most prolific winner in the line-up, but he has been off since August and is due to go chasing shortly. There are plenty to choose from in the finale, but Tobesure is the pick to small stakes.
