Verdict
THORPE is back in novice company after finishing fifth in a competitive handicap at Musselburgh 10 days ago. He's probably a bit flattered by a rating of 128 but should be good enough to beat October's Stratford winner Vinnie Red off level weights and give 7lb to Glingili. The latter has already won a point-to-point and a bumper at Musselburgh, however, so clearly has a future and he makes more appeal than Shades Of Midnight.
