      Verdict

Silverton was a very easy winner at Ayr nine days ago and should be capable of further improvement. Despite a 14lb higher mark, she looks a threat to the hat-trick hopes of AMETHYST ROSE. Stuart Coltherd's mare has had her latest victory at Sedgefield franked, however, and is well worth a try over this longer distance. Southway Star looks to have been collared by the handicapper but Spirit Oscar has been placed in both previous tries over fences and can't be ignored.
