Hostile Fire, four times a winner on the Flat in the UK, made a very encouraging debut over hurdles at Leopardstown when runner-up to Theophilus. He'll come on a bundle for that as will third-placed BATTLE HYMN, who was only half-a-length behind and didn't have as much experience on the level so may come on enough to reverse the form and take this. Officieux showed the benefit of his opening run with a much-improved effort when third behind Thunder Zone on this track and should make further progress. Uradel started odds-on in that latter race but was soon beaten when passed after attempting to make all.
