In depth

Verdict

The mare Burren Moonshine is in good form and it should pay to follow her here, with Old Noddy, Ryminster and Forevereyesofblue others for the short list. Burren Moonshine stays extremely well, as evidence by her recent Sedgefield win, she loves fast ground and she races with the sort of enthusiasm that can see her defy a 7lb penalty. Old Noddy is another in good heart after back-to-back wins, also over extreme trips. He handles good ground well but failed to complete on his only start on a faster surface. Last time out here he beat Forevereyesofblue in a tough contest and that rival now has a 4lb pull for less than a length, so it should again be very tight. Ryminster is a c&d scorer and has gone up a fair looking 9lb for an 11 length Sedgefeidl success last time. He looks useful in the context of this race but, in what looks like being a hard fought contest we will take Burren Moonshine to prevail.
