Verdict

Just Paddy's Band scored over course and distance in March but was then well beaten into third by some 24 lengths on his reappearance last month. His yard is going through a quiet phase and he is probably best watched for now. Solway Molly landed a small Worcester bumper in September but was only 12th of 18 on her next start, whilst Star Vantage was beaten 15l on debut at Sedgefield but comfortably accounted for the rest of the field. Rose Of Siena is of obvious interest on debut for Richards and Hughes but DONNY BOY created a very good impression on his sole pointing start in the eyes of some good judges and just shades the vote.
