Although he may not have gone quite like greased lightning, DANNY ZUKO did enough in winning at Bangor last time to suggest that he can follow up today in what is not a strong handicap, while Storm Prospect and Marcel should be thereabouts. The Donald McCain-trained selection has won two of his last three, and so is on good terms with himself. That recent win was over shorter than today's 2m 2f trip, and he should arguably be more at home over this. An 8lb rise does not make things easy, but he may well be able to find enough. Storm Prospect has conditions and trip to suit and performed with credit here after a break last month. He may well be better for that outing and he is respected. Marcel is another who acts on today's ground and is weighted to confirm form with Storm Prospect on their running here behind Annibale Caro. On that basis he can't be ruled out. Pontop likes top-of-the-ground and will be more at home over this shorter trip than last time out at Ayr, and he may not yet be fully exposed. Witness Run went well enough in a hunter chase at Sedgefield last time, but he might be tapped for toe in this discipline and the one that we want is Danny Zuko.
