Verdict
A tricky affair may go to Uneven Line ahead of Acceleration, My Lucky Rose and Turn The Corner to name but three. This amateur riders' affair really is a bit of a puzzle to say the least, but Uneven Line has at last been placed twice, most recently over fences at Hexham. By no stretch of the imagination is he a good thing, but back over the smaller obstacles he must surely have a squeak at least. Acceleration has an absence to overcome, but was fancied on his last outing in June, and any support in the ring would be significant for Dick Allan's five-year-old. My Lucky Rose showed little on his last start at Navan but is not highly tried, while Turn The Corner boasts a similar profile. Silver Dagger was remounted to finish at Wetherby but has less weight to carry than most so is worth a glance in this poor company, but in a race in which bets are best kept to a minimum, it is Uneven Line that is lumbered with the vote.
