A race for amateurs here who are too scared too ride over fences sees an excellent opportunity for Butterwick Chief to open his account for his in-form trainer Richard Fahey. Despite being well beaten on his three runs last season the form of those races at Doncaster has worked out well and this sharper track could suit his running style. He is the TEAMtalk selection. Star Trooper will have his supporters following his success last week at Sedgefield but that victory came in a desperate race and this horse's reluctance to race was highlighted by his jockey wearing spurs. Looking Deadly can put up the occasional good performance but might need a stiffer test of stamina these days. His dreadful run last time out will have done his confidence no good either.
