Verdict
Most of these have doubts about them but Elliott Cooper has done well with SOME CATCH who looks by far the safest option. The five-year-old should have plenty more improvement to come but also made a very smooth chasing debut when hacking up on his only fencing start at Perth under today's prevailing conditions. A repeat of that would make him the one to beat. Guns And Butter has only a single hurdle success to his credit in 25 attempts but went close to adding to that sole win when narrowly denied at Cartmel latest, although that contest took place on soft ground. Nifty Roy was well beaten in that Cartmel race but does have a chance on the best of his chase form off a fair mark.
