Verdict
The market is likely to offer most clues so in the absence of that information, True Temper is taken to gain the scalps of Gusty Law and Granoski Gala. The selection won readily at Friars Haugh over 3 miles on good going and if he can translate his flags form to rules - he should be able to break his rules maiden after 32 unsuccessful starts. Gusty Law was a beaten odds-on favourite on his last start. He has not be seen for a year since so there may have been genuine excuses. Granoski Gala is likely to have her supporters with Rose Davidson aboard. The mare had few excuses when outpointed at Overton over a similar trip. High Expectations is a regular in this company and is completely exposed. Decent Bond is not the safest of conveyances and may be relient upon others making mistakes. Starbuck should encounter few problems with the prevailing ground conditions although he stays without too much in the way of genuine speed. A race where the market is watched feverishly and True Temper is selected.
