        The first Triple Crown winner for 37 years, American Pharoah brings a brilliant career to a close in this. But he suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Keen Ice at Saratoga in August which leaves the niggling doubt an incredibly tough season may have taken its toll on Bob Baffert's star as he takes on his elders for the first time. If that is the case, HONOR CODE looks to have every chance with Beholder a late withdrawal. Below par on a wet track last time, Shug McGaughey will be hoping the rain stays away for his charge as he beat the hot favourite for Friday's Dirt Mile, Liam's Map, and today's rival and subsequent Grade 1 winner Tonalist at Saratoga earlier. Smooth Roller faces tougher opposition than when scoring at Santa Anita last time but remains unexposed while Godolphin's Frosted has plenty to find with American Pharoah. It's difficult to see dual Guineas winner Gleneagles getting the better of these high-class dirt horses as he steps up in trip for Ballydoyle.
