France launches a strong challenge with four live chances and Andre Fabre trains two of those in Make Believe and Esoterique. The former beat Limato easily enough over 7f last time having won the 2000 Guineas at Longchamp earlier while the latter arrives at the top of her game after beating Integral in the Sun Chariot at Newmarket recently. Impassable was an impressive winner of a Group 2 last time and should hold her own in this company on that evidence while last year's winner KARAKONTIE (NAP) is back for more. Jonathan Pease's charge made a belated start this year with a comeback run in August and was forced to make the running when third at Longchamp last month. He'll be happier finishing off a fast pace here and gets the vote. Roger Charlton's Group 2 winner Time Test faces his toughest task so far and David O'Meara's Woodbine Mile winner Mondialiste will find this more difficult. The home team will do well to get a look-in but Grand Arch and Tepin are both Grade 1 winners over course and distance.
