It was similar conditions underfoot when CERSEI finished second on the July course here in August behind the subsequent Group 2 winner Promising Run. David Simcock's filly gets the vote on the strength of that form ahead of Kakashan. The latter has been placed in both starts to date and should go well along with Bumptious, a close-up fifth at Windsor on her first start. Of the newcomers, Aghaany is a half-sister to a Listed winner and Alyday can include a Group 3 winner among her relatives. Ravelin is also related to winners in pattern company and Aljazzi is another to keep an eye on for the future.
